Proposed final dividend
After the end of the reporting period, a final single tier dividend of 6% (2013: 12%) in respect of the year ended 31
December 2014 was proposed by the Directors. This dividend will be recognised in subsequent financial period upon
approval by the shareholders of the Company at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
30. Operating segments
The Group has three divisions, as described below, which are the Group’s strategic business units. The strategic
business units offer different products and services, and are managed separately. The following summary describes the
operations in each of the Group’s division:

Vehicles assembly, manufacturing, distribution and after sale services
: Business in assembly and distribution of
passenger and commercial vehicles, automotive workshop services, distribution of automotive spare parts and
manufacturing of automotive parts.

Financial services
: Business in provision of hire purchase financing, personal loans and insurance agency.

Other operations
: Business in property and investment holding activities.
Performance is measured based on segment earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA),
as included in the internal management reports that are reviewed by the Chief Operating Decision Makers (“CODM”).
Segment profit is used to measure performance as management believes that such information is the most relevant in
evaluating the results of certain segments relative to other entities that operate within these industries.
The operations of the Group are predominantly in Malaysia.
Segment assets and liabilities
Segment assets and liabilities information are neither included in the internal management reports nor provided regularly
to the management. Hence, no disclosures are made on segment assets and liabilities.
