| Contents | The Board of Directors of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad ("TCMH") informs that the Group has on 8 October 2009 incorporated three (3) new subsidiaries ("Subsidiaries"), particulars of which are set out in the table below, under the Offshore Companies Act 1990 in the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia to cater for the Group's future business expansion needs. The formation of the Subsidiaries has no material effect on the earnings, net assets and gearing of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2009. None of the directors or major shareholders of the Company or persons connect with them has an interest, direct or indirect, in the formation of the Subsidiaries. This announcement is dated 9 October 2009. |
