“We would like to inform that Tan Chong Consolidated Sdn Bhd (TCC), a major shareholder of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad, has notified the Company that a winding-up petition has been served on TCC and that TCC has filed an application to strike out the petition. The Company has no further information with regard to the said petition.
For the avoidance of doubt, Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad wishes to clarify that it is not involved in the winding-up petition served on TCC. This public announcement is made to avoid any possible confusion over the identities of the two different companies.”
