The Board of Directors of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad ("the Company") wishes to inform that the Company will seek shareholders' approval on the following proposals at the forthcoming Forty-Second Annual General Meeting:

1. Proposed Renewal of Authority for the Company to Purchase Its Own Ordinary Shares ("Proposed Share Buy-Back").

2. Proposed Renewal of Shareholders' Mandate for Recurrent Related Party Transactions ("Proposed Shareholders' Mandate").

A circular containing details of the Proposed Share Buy-Back and Proposed Shareholders' Mandate will be despatched to the shareholders of the Company in due course.
