Reference is made to our announcements dated 18 August 2017, 5 January 2018, 11 January 2018 and 16 November 2018 pertaining to the Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim filed by Transnasional Express Sdn Bhd, Plusliner Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Kenderaan Melayu Kelantan Berhad, Syarikat Rembau Tampin Sdn Bhd, Kenderaan Langkasuka Sdn Bhd, Konsortium Transnasional Berhad and MHSB Properties Sdn Bhd (collectively “the Plaintiffs”) against Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (“TCIE”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (“TCMH”).

TCMH wishes to announce that:-

1. At the case management at the High Court on 13 December 2018, the Plaintiffs had withdrawn the Injunction Application with no order as to costs;
2. The High Court has fixed the trial dates on 10 September 2019 to 13 September 2019, being the earliest dates available for trial. The High Court has further fixed the next case management on 29 January 2019; and
3. The case management for the Federal Court leave application is fixed on 2 January 2019.

TCIE will be discussing the above matter with their solicitors on the next course of action. Further announcement will be made from time to time in respect of any material developments on this matter.
