Contents	The Board of Directors of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad ("TCMH") informs that Tan Chong Education Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCMH, has on 25 September 2009 incorporated the following three (3) new subsidiaries ("Subsidiaries") under the Companies Act, 1965 in Malaysia to carry on education related businesses: 1. Tan Chong Education Services Sdn Bhd 2. Tan Chong Higher Education Sdn Bhd 3. Tan Chong Private Education Sdn Bhd The Subsidiaries each has an authorized capital of RM100,000 made up of 100,000 shares of RM1 each and an issued and paid-up capital of RM2 made up of 2 ordinary shares of RM1 each. The formation of the Subsidiaries has no material effect on the earnings, net assets and gearing of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2009. None of the directors or major shareholders of the Company or persons connect with them has an interest, direct or indirect, in the formation of the Subsidiaries.
