We refer to reports on the above subject matter that appeared in The Edge and The Sun respectively dated 14 April 2003.
In respond thereto, we have made due enquiries with each and every member of the Board, senior management staff of the Group, senior management of Nissan Japan and taken the liberty of writing to the Managing Director of EON to determine the veracity of the contents of the said reports.
Whilst waiting for the reply from the Managing Director of EON, we are pleased to advise that none of our Board members, senior management staff of the Group and Nissan Japan are involved in any way or aware of any exploratory discussions between the Company and EON on the subject matter.
